Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is the supervision of the plumbing and steam distribution crew of the Utilities Division. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating campus plumbing and steam operations, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on water and steam systems.

1. Installation, Maintenance and Operation of Plumbing and Steam System (35%)
2. Personnel Management/Supervision (35%)
3. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance (15%)
4. Renovation and Construction (10%)
5. Budget Preparation, Record Keeping, Reports, and Material Procurement (5%)

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of experience in trade areas, or equivalent training and experience. Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• NC Plumbing or Technician License
• Backflow certification
