Qualifications

• Must demonstrate care for others and ability to communicate with staff and residents in a professional, but compassionate manner.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure our facility remains presentable and sanitary.
• Have working knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance functions.
• Must have experience in repairing drywall, paint, stain, and refinish.
• Ensure that the facility and its equipment is properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to facility and equipment as directed (plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation to keep the facility presentable for residents and staff.
• Repair drywall, paint, stain, and refinishing projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures when using tools and equipment.
