Summary
Responsible for developing and maintaining reports, data, budgets, and any other documentation that is required or requested by the administration or other tribal, federal, and state entities. Also responsible for the general care, maintenance, repair and preservation of assigned facilities of the Chickasaw Nation.
Responsibilities
- Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
- Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
- Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
- Coordinates, develops, maintains, and reviews supporting documentation and reports required by the Chickasaw Nation or from federal and state governments for assigned facilities
- Coordinates and performs wage interviews in accordance to the Davis Bacon Act and maintains required documentation relative to interviews
- Manages assigned budgets - preparation, forecasts, expense management, approvals, reporting, etc.
- Maintains spreadsheets and databases and inputs data entry
- Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
- Prepares monthly reports
- Coordinates with other staff outside of the maintenance program and collects reports and supporting documentation they provide relative to the monthly monitoring reports the maintenance program is responsible for
- Maintains assigned tribal facilities and properties in a manner that is acceptable by the Chickasaw Nation
- Performs light construction, grounds maintenance and cultivation, remodeling of Tribal offices
- Performs demolition, drywall, taping and bedding, painting and related finish work
- Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes
- Performs exterior painting and weatherization of all Tribal facilities
- Coordinates and assist, as requested, with any federal reviews or inspections on facilities from a maintenance standpoint
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Competencies
- Able to follow instructions, both written and oral
- Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements
- Basic operation, maintenance and repair of tools and equipment used in farming, landscaping, sod production and ag processes
- Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability
- Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines
- Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management
Skills
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical
- Operate light and heavy equipment
Experience
- 1 year directly related experience
Education
- High School, GED or Equivalent
- Associates Degree in directly related field
Credentials
- Standard Driver's License
- Pass general background check

Training
