Job summary
Planet Fitness seeks a Facility Maintenance Rep in Florida to keep clubs in top shape. You’ll troubleshoot and repair gym equipment, tanning beds, HydroMassage machines, restrooms and more, ensuring reliable facilities for members and staff.
Travel between Planet Fitness locations in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties, perform tasks with hand and power tools, diagnose issues, and assist senior techs. A proactive attitude and strong communication are essential.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with drywall, tile, electrical and plumbing basics is a plus.
- Ability to travel between locations in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance tasks using hand and occasional power tools.
- Travel between multiple Planet Fitness locations in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties to address facility needs.
- Diagnose and repair minor issues before escalation.
- Assist senior maintenance technicians with larger or two-person jobs.
- Maintain and repair gym equipment, tanning beds, HydroMassage machines, restrooms, showers, TVs, ceiling tiles, and more.
