Qualifications

• Valid Alaska Driver's License required prior to employment.
• Diphtheria immunization prior to employment.
• Tetanus immunization prior to employment.
• Hepatitis A vaccination series with first dose prior to employment and second dose six months after.
• Hepatitis B vaccination series with first dose prior to employment, second dose two months after and final dose six months after the first dose.
• Ability to pass FBI fingerprint background check within 60 days of hire (Police only).
• Applicant must pass a criminal history background check and documentation free from active pulmonary tuberculosis.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, sanitation and janitorial duties, including cleaning work areas and equipment, moving supplies, repairing equipment, shuttling parts, and maintaining records as required.
• Operate departmental equipment and document activities as directed.
• May be required to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and may be on-call 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
