Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance of the correctional facility, directing staff and inmates in building systems, plumbing, electrical, and grounds. A high school diploma or GED and seven years of maintenance experience, with at least two years in supervision, are required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a preferred Enterprise Asset Management system are desired; a valid driver’s license is needed. This role is based in Ohio, on-site at the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance or construction experience and supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct, schedule and manage maintenance staff and inmates/residents.
• Establish maintenance standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Oversee capital expenditure planning and replacement schedules.
• Review work orders and ensure cost-effective, quality repairs.
• Analyze problems and assist workers in solving them.
• Make recommendations on personnel actions.
