Job summary

Tapco Genuine Parts Center in the United States is seeking a meticulous Facility Maintenance & Janitorial Specialist to maintain our corporate office and warehouse facilities. This full-time role emphasizes high-standard sanitation, from general cleaning to care of furniture, artwork, and equipment.

You will manage daily tasks, including lobby presentation, restroom sanitation, and high-touch disinfection, while supporting specialized care of executive areas and periodic deep-cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented; ability to follow a multi-page checklist and notice small details.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Understanding how to treat different materials (wood, marble, leather, chrome).
• Reliable with time management to complete daily tasks.
• Discretion when working in executive offices and sensitive areas.

Responsibilities

• Daily sanitation and presentation of the main lobby and facilities.
• Specialized cleaning for upstairs, downstairs and executive areas, including restrooms and dining spaces.
• Floor care and facility maintenance, including floor scrubber operation and equipment checks.
• Administrative tasks and periodic deep-cleaning; monitor inventory and coordinate reorders.

KeyResponsibilities

DailySanitation&Presentation

Maintaina"first-impression"readyMainLobbybycleaningglass,vacuuming,andmanaging floorconditionsduringinclementweather.

Executefull-servicerestroomsanitation,includingdisinfectingfixturesandrestockingallpaper andsoapsupplies.

Ensurebreakroomsandkitchens(upstairsanddownstairs)arehygienic:wipingfixtures, loading/runningdishwashers,andmanagingtrashremovalthroughouttheday.

Performhigh-touchdisinfectiononlightswitches,waterfountains,andtelephones.

SpecializedOfficeCare

Providededicatedcleaningforupstairs,downstairsandexecutiveareas,includingrestroom partitions,privatebathroomsanddiningareas.

Applyspecializedcleaningtreatments:onleatherfurniture,stonesurfaces,andondesignated desktops.

Carefullydustandmaintainartwork,sculptures,andglass-coveredpicturesusingappropriate tools(featherdustersandWindex).

Floor&FacilityMaintenance

Performvariedfloorcare:vacuumingrugs,dry-moppingwood/linoleum,andwet-mopping stairwaysandhallwayswithhigh-frequencydisinfectantrotations.

Operateafloorscrubberinthewarehousewalkwayonadailybasis.

Monitorandcleardebris/leavesfromroofdrainsweekly.

Performlightindustrialmaintenance,includinggreasingwarehousedoors/balers,andcheckingforktruckbatterywaterlevels.

Administrative&PeriodicTasks

Followastrictperiodicschedulefordeep-cleaningtasks(monthlywindows,quarterlyvents,bi-annualclockadjustments).

Monitorsupplyinventoryandreportneedsforreordering.

Conduct"AsNeeded"spotcleaningandcobwebremovalincornersandhighceilings.
