OBJECTIVE:
The candidate will be responsible for performing building maintenance and repairs. The candidate must be a reliable individual who has a flexible work schedule.
Job Type: Full-time: 30-35hrs/week
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to perform basic plumbing repairs, including fixing toilets, sinks, minor leaks, etc.
- Ability to perform minor electrical work.
- Ability to perform carpentry and painting.
- Courier service to multiple office locations.
- Running errands.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
SKILLS:
- Considerable knowledge of the work hazards and applicable safety standards associated with facility, maintenance, and repair.
- Ability to follow all safety procedures.
- Ability to use power tools.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and vendors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to perform the basic life operational functions of climbing physically, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting (must be able to lift at least 50 pounds).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid CT driver's license.
- Must have a van or truck.
- Travel is required to all locations where delivery or pick-up is needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and considerable experience in the area of facility maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
