Job Purpose

A physically demanding position sometimes requiring heavy lifting and carrying averaging up to 70lbs. The ability to stand continuously is essential with occasional walking and sitting. The nature of this position will require employee to perform a wide range of physical activities ranging from pushing and pulling heavy objects requiring a potential push/pull force of 100lbs. to crouching, kneeling, bending and handling. Repetitive motions are also required.

Education And Qualifications

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required

• Three years background in industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance with troubleshooting experience


• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, new equipment installation, plumbing, and HVAC


• Troubleshooting knowledge with various automation and PLC controlled equipment such as Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, and DirectLogic PLC’s. PLC programming experience a plus


• Strong problem-solving skills


• Preventative maintenance experience necessary


• Strong computer skills preferred


• Willingness to work on any shift and to work overtime.

Familiarity (experience preferred) with the following:

• Packaging operations (box making, bagging, vacuum sealing, shrink wrap)


• Assembly operations (light pressing, bearing assembly)


• Welding operations (arc/mig)
