Job summary

empirical is seeking a reliable janitorial worker to maintain cleanliness across plant facilities, including bathrooms, offices, and common areas. The role requires the ability to operate ride-on scrubbers, follow written and verbal instructions, and lift up to 60 lbs while maintaining safety standards.

Previous janitorial experience is advantageous but not required; a High School diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

Overview

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the plant facility. Utilize sanitizing chemicals and cleaning equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum all areas assigned: bathrooms, locker rooms, hallways, stairwells, welfare areas, and production offices.


• Responsible for maintaining clean and safe work areas, free from slippery surfaces and floors littered with debris.


• Clean and sanitize walls, windows, tables, floors, and like surfaces.


• Empty trash and garbage containers. The employee must pick up cigarette butts, paper, and any debris that is found inside or outside the facility.


• Visually observant of repairs or issues in the plant such as missing tiles, light bulb replacement, etc. and report to management.


• Operate several types of motorized cleaning equipment. Will use, maintain, and store equipment properly.


• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.


• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience
