Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a pathologist to manage a 40–50 case per day workload with a Monday–Friday schedule. Biopsies and cancer resections across GI, GYN, breast, GU, liver, and skin are required, along with peripheral smear review and non-gyn cytology.

The role uses PathGroup's digital sign out EMR. We provide vacation coverage, overflow support from an external pathology team, and arrange complimentary housing and travel with comprehensive malpractice coverage.

• Biopsies -- GI, GYN, breast, GU, liver, skin required
• Cancer resections -- breast, lung, colon, and more required
• Peripheral blood smear review and non-gyn cytology required
• EMR: PathGroup digital sign out system

Responsibilities

• Handle 40–50 cases per day on a Monday–Friday schedule
• Perform biopsies across GI, GYN, breast, GU, liver and skin
• Perform cancer resections including breast, lung, colon and more
• Review peripheral blood smears and non-gyn cytology
• Utilize PathGroup EMR digital sign out system for reporting
• Vacation coverage in 2026 & 2027; overflow backup provided by external pathology team
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and provide comprehensive malpractice coverage

From $180.00 to $220.00 Hourly
Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations. Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay. Please contact your consultant for details.
