Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a board-certified pathologist for general surgical pathology in California City, CA. Responsibilities include biopsies, orthopedic and cervical specimens; histology is offsite; no frozens required.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4 hours per day from 11 am to 3 pm; one week every two months; 10–20 cases daily. We offer complimentary housing and travel, comprehensive malpractice coverage, credentialing assistance, weekly pay deposits, and access to an online portal.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pathologist with experience in general surgical pathology.
• Proficient in interpreting biopsies including cervical and orthopedic specimens.
• Ability to work with offsite histology workflows and no frozens required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate surgical pathology specimens including biopsies.
• Handle cervical and orthopedic pathology cases as part of routine service.
• Coordinate with offsite histology and ensure timely reporting.
