Job summary

US PharmaLab Inc. in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanrooms, labs, and high-traffic areas in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include thorough cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, operating floor scrubbing machines, and reporting maintenance needs while following all safety protocols and PPE requirements. The role requires 1+ year of housekeeping experience and the ability to work as part of a team; a high school

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years in housekeeping services.
• Past work experience in an FDA regulated workplace and/or manufacturing industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in setting up, serving food for company events, and performs clean up.
• Responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned cleaning area according to schedule which can include dusting/cleaning lunchroom sinks, tabletops, counters, refrigerator/microwaves, removing trash, restroom cleaning, and restocking restrooms.
• Will be able to wipe down sinks, partitions, and stainless steel.
• Mop production areas, washrooms, and lunchrooms.
• Replenish cafeteria supplies.
• Straighten areas, such as lobbies, conference rooms, locker rooms, & break rooms.
• Clean window blinds and draperies.
• Reports equipment/cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
• Safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Collecting trash/recycling/ and for the proper disposal of trash/recycling in correct containers.
• Maintain proper gowning and hygiene to ensure integrity of the product as per company policies.
• Works extended hours and occasional weekend overtime.
• Adheres to all safety protocols, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Cleaning of Warehouse racks, Fans Windows, Pipes, Removal of Cobwebs etc.
• Use of Floor scrubbing machine.
• Check all exterior of facility and clean/pick up debris as necessary.
• Removal of Trash from all exterior trash cans.
• Salting and removal of light snow as needed near entrances.
• Other duties as assigned
