Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool is seeking an RN to join a dynamic team in a PRN role. You will provide care across multiple units using established nursing practices and participate in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of bedside RN experience, BSN preferred, and an active RN license with BLS. The role offers 12-hour or 8-hour shifts, with competitive shift differentials and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience
• BSN preferred
• Current RN license in state
• BLS through American Heart Association
• Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds and ability to stand/walk for long periods

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process

Flexible Scheduling Options:

• 12-hour shifts:7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM

• 8-hour evening shifts:3 PM – 11 PM

Competitive Pay with Tiered Differentials:

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg):+$5.00/hr

• Tier 2 (Stepdown):+$7.50/hr

• Tier 1 (ICU):+$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials:

• Evening: +$2.75/hr

• Night: +$4.60/hr

• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

Qualifications:

• Experience:1–2 years of bedside RN experience

• Education:Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)

• License:Current RN license in the state

• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association

• Physical requirements/demands:

  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift

  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
