Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a Facility Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of utility systems at the Queen Creek battery manufacturing plant. You will help manage electricity, compressed air, water, steam, and HVAC to ensure reliable service for production.

You will monitor energy use, pursue efficiency improvements, coordinate with contractors, and maintain records. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• PLC experience is preferred but not required.
• Six Sigma certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with DOE (Design of experiments) preferred but not required.
• Experience using CAD and coding preferred but not required.
• Must be able to properly use PPE (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, etc.) for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems (electrical, compressed air, water, steam, HVAC).
• Monitor utility consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities.
• Assist troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for utility services and upgrades.
• Ensure minimal production interruptions by addressing outages promptly.
• Maintain records of performance, maintenance schedules, work orders, and compliance documents.
• Support reporting on utility performance to senior management.
• Maintain work-site 5S3R standards and cleanliness.
