Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to keep luxury retail store operations safe and reliable. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and support facility projects across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and energy management.

The role requires hands-on mechanical or electrical work, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness to respond to after-hours calls as needed. This is a on-site position in Scottsdale area.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical training or equivalent experience in mechanical/electrical work.
• 2–5 years of mechanical or electrical experience or four years of apprenticeship.
• Background in building maintenance, electrical systems and HVAC.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on building equipment and the building envelope.
• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, generators, lighting and vertical transportation.
• Order maintenance supplies and assist with expense management and capital planning.
• Maintain building energy management systems and support POS, telephone and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency calls and work overtime when required.

Requirements

• Vocational school or college education focused on mechanical or electrical work, or equivalent experience.
• Two to five years of mechanical or electrical experience, or four years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Background in building maintenance, electrical systems, and HVAC.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and understand Safety Data Sheets.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and climb ladders.
