Job summary

The Brobston Group seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Miami to maintain, repair, and support building systems at a luxury retail store. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and assist with energy management and store systems to ensure smooth operations.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of mechanical or electrical experience, or an apprenticeship. You will work independently and with others, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow safety data sheets

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a mechanical or electrical field.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Background in building maintenance, electrical work, and HVAC.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Ability to prioritize work, work independently and with others, and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

• Perform weekly preventive maintenance and log safety inspections.
• Inspect and troubleshoot building equipment, including elevators, boilers, generators, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Order maintenance supplies and assist with expense management and capital planning.
• Maintain or coordinate building energy management systems.
• Support point-of-sale, telephone, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency calls when required.
