Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking a Facility Engineer to maintain, repair, and support building systems at a luxury retail store in Palo Alto, CA. You will handle preventive maintenance, safety inspections, energy management, and support for capital projects.

Responsibilities include inspecting and troubleshooting electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems, ordering supplies, and assisting with budgeting. The role requires hands-on ability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Vocational school or college training in a mechanical or electrical field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, four years of apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
• Background in building maintenance, electrical systems, and HVAC.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and understand Safety Data Sheets.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and climb ladders.
