Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completed electrical apprenticeship or technical training.
• Valid SC Journeyman Electrician License.
• Minimum 3 years as licensed electrician in installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret or higher clearance.
• Knowledge of NEC, local codes, and OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for installations.
• Diagnose electrical problems using meters and testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
• Coordinate with other trades on facility projects.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
