Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Bucks is seeking a Driver for our Jamison, PA facility. This is a 1099 contract position, PRN hours as needed. You will transport clients for admit, discharge and appointments, collect and deliver external documentation and lab specimens, and assist with luggage.

You’ll help keep vehicles well-maintained, ensure fuel, and support custodial duties when not transporting. A valid state license, 1 year in the treatment industry preferred, and strong communication are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Dignified, respectable character which reflects recovery principles.
• Extensive knowledge of all motor vehicle laws.

Responsibilities

• Monitor transportation schedule, safely transporting clients for admit, discharge and appointments as necessary.
• Collect and deliver all external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
• Engage clients on peer support level during transport, and assist with any luggage.
• Ensure vehicle is well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties while not actively engaged in transport.

Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment services.
