Job summary

Honor Health Network seeks a compassionate Facility Driver for our Adult Day Center in East Brunswick, NJ. You will provide safe, courteous transportation for members, assisting with boarding and alighting and ensuring mobility devices are properly secured.

Applicants must hold a CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a clean NJ driving record, with prior healthcare environment experience preferred. You will coordinate with staff and families to schedule rides and maintain a clean, safe vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement and an entirely clean New Jersey driving record.
• Experience in a medical center, senior living facility, or home health environment is required.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with older adults or individuals with medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Transport adult day center members to and from the facility following designated routes and schedules.
• Mobility Support: Assist members with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring safety restraints, wheelchairs, and mobility devices are secured.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe vehicle, perform daily pre-trip inspections, and report maintenance needs.
• Member Care: Provide empathetic customer service and create a welcoming environment for members.
• Coordination: Communicate with staff, families, and caregivers regarding scheduling or transit updates.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Driver's License:Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with aPassenger (P) Endorsementand an entirely clean New Jersey driving record (no recent violations, points, or major infractions).

• Experience:Previous experience working within a medical center, senior living facility, or home health environment isrequired.

• Skills:Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with older adults or individuals with medical needs.
