Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a Planner 1/2 to support the MSS-Data group in managing facility data, floor plans, and space management. The role involves field validations, data updates in Archibus and BUILDER, and collaboration with a cohesive team to deliver effective results.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with responsibilities at both the Planner 1 and Planner 2 levels, including planning, coordination, and leadership tasks as applicable.

Qualifications

• Planner 1: two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Planner 2: Bachelor's Degree and 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience with facility data, floor plans, and data systems preferred.
• Knowledge of building/space data, safety programs, and regulatory considerations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in management, planning, and development of MSS-Data programs to meet DOE requirements.
• Conducts field walk-downs measuring interior/exterior dimensions and room use.
• Acts as point of contact and provides facility data consultation to customers.
• Analyzes project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Researches and evaluates information on policies, industry practices, or regulatory changes affecting facilities.
• Understands and adheres to Laboratory guidance for floor plan development.
• Delivers concise oral and written presentations on project status.
