Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated facilities steward to maintain clean and orderly centers across locations. Primary duties include daily custodial tasks, restocking supplies, and supporting operations for a high-standard care environment.

Ideal candidates have CPR certification, 2+ years of related experience, and a sobriety period if in recovery. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential. Benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of two years’ related experience preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
