Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC invites applications for a Janitor/Groundskeeper to support the CBP Processing and Holding Modular Buildings at the El Paso Border Patrol Station. Responsibilities include cleansing and maintaining multiple facility areas, from detainee spaces to staff common areas, and keeping exteriors tidy within 25 feet of buildings.

Responsibilities extend to floors, restrooms, windows, lighting, landscaping, and general grounds maintenance, with emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; background check and drug screening may be required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include custodial practices, ability to follow verbal instructions, operate cleaning equipment, enforce safety procedures, lead and train, lift heavy objects, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sweep all non-carpeted floor surface areas and keep areas free of spills, trash, and debris.
• Damp mop and spray buff tile and resilient flooring; ensure clean, streak-free surfaces.
• Apply a uniform floor finish for a glossy, non-slip look; maintain cleanliness.
• Strip and wax hard floors per manufacturer recommendations for non-slip surface.
