Planes is seeking a reliable Facility Custodian in Indianapolis to keep our offices, warehouse, and grounds clean and safe. You will perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, and support operations during peak times.

The role offers a flexible schedule with both full-time (30+ hours) and part-time options. A strong eye for detail and the ability to work independently are essential for maintaining a professional environment for staff and visitors.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prev custodial, janitorial, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience using standard cleaning tools and equipment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of offices, warehouse, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Restock restroom and kitchen supplies as needed.
• Keep outdoor areas clean and safe.
• Clean windows, doors, and other facility surfaces as assigned.
• Support warehouse operations with clean floors and work areas.
• Stock copiers, printers, and other office equipment with supplies.
• Assist with recycling programs and occasional shipment check-ins.
• Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance, safety or repair concerns.
• Assist with general warehouse labor and operational support during peak seasons.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Flexible Schedule

The Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facility Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace. This position is responsible for the daily upkeep of our office, warehouse, and facility grounds, ensuring employees and visitors enjoy a clean, professional environment.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. During peak business periods, this individual may also assist with general warehouse duties to support operations and help the team meet customer demands.

What You'll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout offices, warehouse areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces.
• Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Replenish restroom, kitchen, and facility supplies as needed.
• Keep outdoor areas clean, safe, and free of debris.
• Clean windows, doors, and other facility surfaces as assigned.
• Support warehouse operations by maintaining clean floors, docks, and work areas.
• Stock copiers, printers, and other office equipment with necessary supplies.
• Assist with recycling programs and occasional shipment check-ins.
• Monitor facility conditions and promptly report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns.
• Assist with general warehouse labor and operational support when needed, particularly during peak seasons.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Provide general support for facility-related projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, facilities, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience using standard cleaning tools and equipment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent exposure to dust, dirt, cleaning products, sunlight, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
