Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a diligent janitor to keep facilities clean, organized, and disinfected. You will vacuum, mop, dust, and manage trash while ensuring restrooms are stocked and sanitized. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and closing doors at the end of the night shift.

Ideal candidates are punctual, dependable, and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace. The work environment includes offices, hallways, and various building interiors in Houston.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality to arrive on time for shifts.

• Safety and security: observes procedures, reports unsafe conditions, uses equipment properly.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, windows and walls.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors across offices, hallways, lobbies and other areas.
• Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture; dust furniture and fixtures.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of restrooms; disinfect surfaces.
• Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools, and phones; wash windows and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling containers; manage trash/ashtrays as needed.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions and follow safety rules.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and close doors at end of night shift.
