Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a dedicated Janitor to keep facilities clean, organized and disinfected. You will handle floors, windows, restrooms and general cleaning tasks across multiple areas, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires reliability, punctuality, and adherence to safety procedures. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and follow cleaning charts, reporting hazards to supervisors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, windows and walls, and general tasks.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies and other areas.
• Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, tools and phones.
• Maintain restrooms and replenish supplies as required.
• Keep furniture free of dust and clean fixtures, mirrors, and windows.
• Empty trash and recycling and manage waste disposal.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions and maintain a cleaning chart.
• Follow safety rules and close doors at end of night shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
