Job summary

Martin Energy Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. The role involves routine cleaning across offices, restrooms, and common areas, with attention to detail and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities include floor care, trash removal, surface cleaning, and reporting safety concerns. Ideal candidates are reliable, capable of working independently, and comfortable performing physical cleaning tasks

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workplace.
• Able to safely use common cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties.
• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Dust and wipe down desks, furniture, counters, and common surfaces.
• Clean breakrooms and other employee common areas.
• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
