Job summary

A-Action Facility Services Inc. is seeking a General Cleaner / Custodian in the Atlanta area to maintain floors, restrooms, windows, and entrances. You will follow chemical safety procedures and operate cleaning equipment in a fast-paced facility environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+ years old, authorized to work in the United States, with cleaning experience, and able to pass a pre-employment drug test. We offer an equal opportunity workplace and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test where required.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas.
• Empty trash and use compactors for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with extraction/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, backpacks, vacuums, buffers).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the scope of work or client needs.
