Job summary

A-Action Facility Services Inc. is seeking a General Cleaner / Custodian to support our Henry County operations. This evening shift role involves cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, with attention to safety and efficiency.

Applicants must be 18+, able to work in the United States, have reliable transportation, pass a drug test if required, and have prior cleaning experience. Training provided; part of a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Able to pass a drug test in some situations.
• Some prior cleaning experience is a good thing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and use a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Other duties as assigned by the scope of work or customer needs.
