Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist for Facilities to ensure that our health plan’s provider network meets regulatory standards. You will review applications, verify credentials, and maintain accurate data in credentialing systems.

You will coordinate with facilities and the contracting team, monitor licensure and certifications, and prepare monthly reports for the Credentialing Committee. Experience in healthcare credentialing is a plus; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; healthcare credentialing certification a plus.
• Experience in credentialing preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Familiarity with credentialing databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review facility credentialing applications for accuracy and completeness; obtain verifications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Update credentialing software systems with facility data and perform data corrections.
• Follow up on recredentialing applications and verifications to ensure timely processing.
• Monitor expiration dates for licenses, DEA certificates and other documentation; present reports to Credentialing Committee.
• Generate and distribute credentialing reports and notices as required.
