Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Environment of Care Program personnel and activities.
• Assist in coordinating all activities of the Environment of Care Program.
• Assist in compiling monthly data for the EOC committee.
• Assist in monitoring rules and regulations from governing bodies for compliance.
• Coordinate all fire and disaster drills.
• Support safety training needs of WRMC staff through orientation and annual sessions.
• Maintain policy and procedure manuals for Maintenance and Security.
• Assist in scheduling maintenance and security personnel; assist the Director with clerical tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information as required.

Job Summary:Assists in coordinating and maintaining the Environment of Care Program. Coordinates the activities of Maintenance, Construction and Security to ensure high quality and efficient operation of services.

Job Duties:

• Environment of Care Program
• Assists the in coordinating all activities of the Environment of Care Program.
• Coordinates the compiling of monthly data for the EOC committee.
• Assists in monitoring rules and regulations from governing organizations (State and Federal.) to assure compliance with each organization.
• Assists in coordinating all fire and disaster drills.
• Assists in the safety training needs of WRMC staff through general orientation and annual departmental safety training.
• Assists in maintaining policy and procedure manuals for Maintenance and Security.
• Assists in maintaining the time/attendance and scheduling of maintenance and security personnel.Assist the Director with clerical functions.
• Maintain confidentiality of any patient health information seen or heard at any White River Health System facility.

Physical Demands:Job responsibilities require a minimal amount of physical work. Workday requires walking and long periods of sitting and data entry. The individual must also be able to maneuver throughout the halls, stairways, and patient rooms in response to hospital emergencies. Interpretation of environmental input requires visual and auditory skills. A significant amount of writing and computer entry is required.
