Job summary

Procon Consulting, LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Facility Condition Assessor to support a high-visibility federal program across a diverse facilities portfolio. This onsite role will document asset conditions, support lifecycle planning, and develop actionable facility data for mission-critical infrastructure decisions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or 16 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Mechanical and/or electrical systems background.
• Experience conducting facility condition assessments or similar evaluations.
• Experience with CMMS or facility inventory systems, including data entry and asset management.
• Strong understanding of CAD drawings, floor plans, and one-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of building systems, lifecycle planning, and facility deficiencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with ADA requirements, building codes, and facility compliance standards.
• ARCHIBUS 23.2 or 25.3 and BUILDER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of facilities, grounds, building systems, and equipment assets.
• Photograph and document facility conditions, equipment, deficiencies, degradation, and potential compliance issues.
• Develop detailed asset inventories, including make, model, serial number, lifecycle information, and other equipment data.
• Identify and document ADA and other building code discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed facility and site assessment reports with recommended improvements.
• Calculate Plant Replacement Value (PRV) and Facility Condition Index (FCI) per DoD/ODNI standards.
• Maintain asset lifecycle and renewal data using UNIFORMAT II, Criticality Codes, and Priority Requirements.
• Develop and maintain prioritized project recommendations and coordinate timelines with PMT.
• Coordinate with PMT, data mgmt, and knowledge mgmt teams to keep facility/asset information current in CMMS.

• Identify and document ADA and other applicable building code discrepancies.

• Prepare detailed facility and site assessment reports documenting existing conditions and recommended improvements.

• Calculate Plant Replacement Value (PRV) and Facility Condition Index (FCI) in accordance with applicable DoD and ODNI standards.

• Maintain asset lifecycle and renewal data using UNIFORMAT II, Criticality Codes, and Requirements Priorities.

• Develop and maintain prioritized project recommendations based on assessment findings and coordinate execution timelines with the Project Management Team (PMT).

• Coordinate with PMT, data management, and knowledge management teams to maintain accurate facility and asset information within the client’s CMMS.
