Job summary

Vanderbilt Health seeks a Facility Compliance and Privacy Officer (FCPO) to coordinate local compliance and privacy activities across facilities. The FCPO will guide leadership on ethics, compliance, and privacy, and oversee investigations arising from concerns or violations within the program.

Should possess deep knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH, Stark, False Claims Act, and related regulations, with strong project management and data analysis skills to improve ongoing compliance and privacy efforts

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Certification in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) preferred or required.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in compliance/privacy.
• Experience with HIPAA/HITECH and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate local compliance program activities at assigned facilities.
• Provide guidance on ethics, privacy, and compliance to leadership.
• Conduct investigations into compliance concerns and violations.
• Monitor and report on privacy practices and regulatory requirements.
