Job summary

Advanced, Inc is seeking a motivated Janitor to maintain cleanliness and organization in our facility. You will clean common areas, restrooms, and meeting spaces while ensuring a sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include sanitizing high-touch surfaces, restocking supplies, and collaborating with facility teams. Prior janitorial experience in healthcare is preferred; the role requires physical stamina and flexibility for day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sanitary environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all common areas, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and medical waste according to established guidelines.
• Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
