Job summary

IFS is hiring a Project Crew Member for its Janitorial Services Team. The role involves cleaning and maintenance tasks across multiple sites, with days/nights and weekend shifts. You’ll travel within a multi-state radius and support a unionized workforce with potential leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance.
• Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood.
• Ability to travel to various sites and drive.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals in English.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Clean hard surface floors (sanitize, scrub, strip and finish).
• Scrub and burnish various floor surfaces (e.g., gym floors).
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets; extract carpets.
• Wash windows; dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Notify managers of major repairs or additions; restock supplies.
