Job summary

bluechip-pro is seeking a dedicated janitorial worker to perform cleaning across assigned facilities in Avon, Indiana. Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom sanitation, trash removal, floor care, grounds maintenance, and public area cleaning.

Adherence to safety practices and calm, courteous interactions with staff and customers are essential. Experience with basic janitorial tasks and ability to follow instructions is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial work.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Maintain safety practices and proper handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height with a high duster.
• Sanitize and spot-clean surfaces around the room and wipe fingerprints from doors and walls.
• Bathroom cleaning: clean sinks, toilets, soap and paper dispensers daily.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Floor dusting and vacuuming using dust mop and proper techniques.
• Clean outdoor areas and manage litter in sidewalks and entrances.
• Maintain public areas and planters; check for cobwebs and dust at window areas.
• Food court area: clean tables, remove trash, spot clean spills, wash trays.
• Floor sanitizing: mop and clean under furniture when back‑tracking from the back of the room.
• Perform inspections and ensure furniture is properly arranged; maintain a quiet, courteous work environment.
