Job summary

The Professional Group is seeking a Support Services Specialist (Day Porter and General Cleaner) to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance across client facilities, including Class A offices and healthcare environments.

This role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who can work independently with minimal supervision, while upholding professionalism and customer-focused service for a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two or more years of janitorial/facility services or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities to established quality, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation per account specs and client expectations.
• Inspect completed work and address quality concerns.
• Prioritize tasks and work independently with accountability.
• Respond to client requests professionally and promptly.
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and supply shortages.
• Protect client property and maintain proper documentation and communication.
