Job summary

plastechcareersite is seeking a Production Janitor to keep offices, building and plant facilities clean and orderly. You will sweep, mop, scrub floors, wash walls and glass, and remove trash, while occasionally performing minor maintenance repairs.

The 1st Shift runs 7:00am–3:30pm with a rate of $18.00 per hour. External candidates may receive a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment, pending performance and attendance.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets general safety rules and maintenance procedures.
• Performs basic arithmetic with all units of measure.
• Demonstrates judgment in following written and oral instructions.
• Operates cleaning and maintenance equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices, building and plant facilities in clean and orderly condition.
• Perform heavy cleaning: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, washing walls and glass, removing trash.
• Make minor maintenance repairs as needed.
• Remove snow or debris from sidewalks and perform related tasks.
