Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a diligent janitorial staff member in Phoenix to maintain clean and sanitary common areas across multiple facilities.

You will perform high dusting, sanitizing, floor care, and routine trash removal while ensuring safe, courteous interactions with guests and staff. The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow safety guidelines, and willingness to work outdoors when needed; prior janitorial experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsabilités

• Perform high dusting around rooms, cleaning surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitize and spot clean surfaces below shoulder height; remove fingerprints and smudges.
• Clean bathrooms with germicidal solution in prescribed order and replenish dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners; dispose of contents.
• Dust mop and vacuum floors; clean under furniture and in restrooms.
• Maintain grounds and outdoor areas; police sidewalks, beds, and benches for trash.
• Clean and sanitize food court tables; remove spills and empty trash cans.
• Sanitize floors and inspect rooms for cleanliness and safety.
• Provide courteous customer service and report issues to supervisor.
