Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Facility Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and functional buildings. The role covers heavy cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitation, and daily janitorial duties across offices and common areas.

Applicants should be 18+, able to pass drug and background checks, wear required PPE, and have fluency in English. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with potential overtime, and benefits include medical, life, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and property in a clean, orderly, and functional condition, including routine maintenance and heavy cleaning duties.
• Perform floor care, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning (shampooing or steam-cleaning).
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and maintain overall facility cleanliness, including dusting furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean and maintain unit breakrooms and office lunchrooms.
• Collect and remove trash from offices and buildings, disposing of it in designated dumpsters.
• Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with established procedures and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Notify management of any equipment repairs or maintenance needs.
• Complete required PSC and Dow monthly computer-based training.
• Safely operate a golf cart or UTV as needed to perform job duties.
