Job summary

PSC Group is hiring a Facility Custodian to maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance at client sites in the United States. This on-site role requires attention to safety protocols and ability to follow procedures, with on- site attendance and potential for growth within a growing industry.

Applicants should be 18+, able to pass a drug screen, background check, and meet language requirements. Valid Driver's License and TWIC may be needed depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• May require a valid Driver's License and/or TWIC card depending on location.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE and pass medical exams if needed.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality required.
• Previous military experience and ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and property clean and orderly.
• Performs routine maintenance activities and heavy cleaning duties.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors; empties trash.
• Cleans restrooms and dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Prepares cleaning solutions per instructions; uses chemical cleaners safely.
• Operates power machinery without damaging floors/fixtures.
• Vacuums shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs.
• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies; notifies for repairs.
• Mows, edges, fertilizes lawns; weeds/mulch garden beds.
• Planting flowers, shrubs, trees; watering gardens and lawns.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition
• Performs routine maintenance activities
• Performs heavy cleaning duties
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors
• Gathers and empties trash
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities / Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment
• Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Vacuums and shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs
• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies
• Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs to equipment associated with the role
• Mowing, edging, and fertilizing lawn/gardens
• Weeding and mulching garden beds
• Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged vegetation as needed
• Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Watering gardens, lawns, and landscaping

Job Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:

• May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Work Schedule

8 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
