Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a compassionate full-time Facility Based Crisis (FBC) Nurse to deliver direct nursing care, medication administration and health monitoring to adults in crisis. You will work 7am–7pm on a 4-on/4-off style schedule and collaborate with the FBC team to implement treatment protocols and promote a safe, therapeutic environment.

• Active North Carolina RN or LPN license.
• One year of behavioral health or substance use experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication; adherence to ethics and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and medication administration for adults in crisis.
• Monitor medical, emotional and psychiatric status; document findings.
• Lead crisis de-escalation and support staff in trauma-informed care.
• Maintain compliance and accurate documentation; participate in audits.
