Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a full-time FBC Nurse for their Crisis Center in Ahoskie, NC. The role involves direct nursing care, medication administration, and health monitoring for adults in a 24/7 setting.

Responsibilities include crisis stabilization, staff training support, documentation, and compliance with policy and regulations. RN/LPN licenses with NC credentials are required, plus CPT/EHR proficiency and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN or LPN license, or a valid Multistate/Compact license.
• One year of behavioral health or substance use treatment experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, medication administration, and health monitoring for adults in a 24/7 crisis setting.
• Administer medications, monitor effectiveness and adverse reactions, document accurately.
• Lead crisis de-escalation efforts and support staff with trauma-informed responses.
• Maintain compliant documentation, participate in audits, and uphold infection control.
