Job summary

A sports facility management organization is seeking a Facility Attendant to greet and assist visitors, support event operations, and maintain a clean facility. Applicants should be at least 16 years old, have reliable transportation, and be available to work nights and weekends. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required for this physically demanding role.

• Anticipate working within a dynamic and physically demanding environment characterized by rapid pace
• May involve lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, frequent outdoor shifts, and exposure to sizable crowds during events
• Requires extensive collaboration among team members where employees will work collectively to fulfill job duties and responsibilities

Reports to: Assistant Operations Manager - Facilities & Events

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets and assists user groups and spectators
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service by interacting with users and answering questions
• Communicates the facility needs through appropriate channels
• Supports the operations team with user needs and facility changeovers
• Ensures safety by maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facilities
• Other duties as assigned
• Anticipate working within a dynamic and physically demanding environment characterized by rapid pace
• May involve lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, frequent outdoor shifts, and exposure to sizable crowds during events
• Requires extensive collaboration among team members where employees will work collectively to fulfill job duties and responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Availability to work nights and weekends
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of field sports is helpful but not necessary
