Job summary

DSV is seeking a Facility Assistant to join our team in the Browns Summit, NC area. You will perform general facilities upkeep across offices, conference rooms, storage areas and warehouse spaces, ensuring cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift training, and at least six months in a similar role. You may work overtime; starting pay ranges from $14.51 to $18.13 per hour, with compensation determined by experience and location.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in a similar role.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.
• Basic computer skills.
• Clear speaking to communicate with vendors/customers.
• Read and comprehend written procedures and instructions.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices, cubicles, conference rooms, restrooms in orderly fashion.
• Prepare conference rooms with coffee, drinks, and food as required.
• Maintain storage areas neat and clean.
• Maintain exterior grounds and lobby areas.
• Empty trash receptacles in the warehouse daily.
• Keep floors clean and post hazard information signs.
• Store materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Work overtime as dictated by business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain offices, cubical, conference rooms, restrooms, and or any other office space clean and in orderly fashion.
• Prepare conference rooms with coffee, drinks, and or food (when required)
• Maintain Storage areas (neat and clean)
• Maintains cleanliness of exterior grounds (bay areas, lobby entrances, etc.,)
• Empty trash receptacles in the warehouse daily at a minimum.
• Maintain floors daily to ensure cleanliness, no dirt and debris, obstacles and trip/slip hazards. Post hazard information signs where needed.
• Maintain materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.

• Education & Experience:
• Six monthsexperience in a similar role
• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate

For this position, the expected base pay range is $14.51 – $18.13 Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
