Job summary

Fountain in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Account Manager to oversee a Marsden account in our local market. You will ensure a high level of customer care, supervise a team of 40+ employees, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility.

This exempt, full-time role reports to the Operations Manager. Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with occasional changes to fit operations; you will manage budgets, conduct inspections, and foster a safe, respectful work environment for all staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years janitorial/facility-service experience.
• Experience managing front line service employees.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Budget awareness and payroll familiarity.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a 40+ employee team across a college setting and multiple buildings.
• Conduct daily inspections to meet customer and company standards.
• Manage all personnel matters including time and pay, training, safety, discipline, and performance appraisals.
• Complete documentation such as warnings, injury reports, and attendance verifications.
• Monitor labor, supplies, and equipment budgets; adjust for vacancies and budget changes.
• Maintain inventory and safe operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ensure facility cleanliness and address deficiencies within 24 hours.
