Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a chemical/petrochemical site.
• Monitor entry/exit, verify ID, issue visitor credentials, and log access.
• Screen vehicles and deliveries, directing authorized individuals to areas.
• Respond to alarms and incidents with calm, clear communication to leadership.
• Perform regular patrols of access points and parking areas to deter mischief.
