Job summary

JD RMD Group, LLC is seeking a dependable Facilities & Yard Associate to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the building exterior, yard, outdoor warehouse areas, and surrounding facilities at our Long Beach site.

This role requires initiative, the ability to work without constant direction, and proactive communication with multiple departments to address issues, organize storage, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current forklift certification required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, yard operations, or related hands-on roles preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to perform physical outdoor work.
• Located in or near Long Beach preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of outdoor areas, yard, and warehouse exterior cleanliness and appearance.
• Perform daily walkthroughs to identify needed cleaning, organization, or maintenance.
• Ensure tools and materials are stored properly and safely.
• Identify safety hazards and address maintenance concerns promptly.
• Assist with basic facility upkeep and light maintenance tasks.
• Operate a forklift to move and organize materials as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to improve storage and housekeeping standards.
