Job summary

Middletown Township School District invites you to join our facilities team as a Facilities Worker. This 12-month position supports building operations, custodial tasks, and safety routines across our schools.

The role requires a high school diploma or 3 years of facilities experience, a Black Seal Boiler license (or willingness to obtain within a year), and the ability to follow directions and work well alone or with others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 3+ years facilities/custodial experience.
• NJ Black Seal Boiler license or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
• Ability to follow orders and work independently or as part of a team.
• Cooperative attitude and neat appearance.
• Other board-approved qualifications as deemed appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and custodial operations as assigned.
• Support safety and building operations in district facilities.

Salary Guide: $35,000 - $40,000 +$926 (night differential if applicable)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or a minimum of three years' facilities/custodial-type experience
• Must currently hold NJ Black Seal Boiler's license or willingness to obtain within one (1) year of employment
• Willingness to follow orders
• Able to work as a group member or independently without continual supervision
• Cooperative attitude with school personnel
• Neat appearance
• Other alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
